PCDvision | Pussycat Dolls – Putting a focus on the fan experience

It was the second episode of the second season of the Sing-Off and I went with my friend. We get lined up and after waiting for a while we are finally taken into the studio. We are seated in perfect view of the judges table and the stage once again. After waiting some more for them to test cameras and get things prepped, I see some of Nicole’s friends enter the studio. The judges were introduced and again, my friend and I along with the Nicole’s friends cheered super loud. Nicole saw her friends and acknowledged them and Nicole also saw me! I made her a heart with my hands and she smiled, waved, and did her cute scrunched up face. Aww! During one of the breaks, Nicole’s friends came down to talk to Nicole and I also met them. They are so nice. Great to finally meet them! The taping goes on and the remaining 8 groups perform and again, 2 groups get eliminated. The taping goes until a little past midnight. The judges do their thing and Nicole had interesting things to say as usual. She again made another inappropriate comment that referred to last week’s comment. LOL! Nick Lacey had to re-do his lines and Nicole had to do a pick-up which she messed up twice, it was so funny. She was so frustrated, lol, but it was cute. During the taping Nicole would interact with her friends and she would look my way a lot and give me these cute faces and waves. Nicole was overall in high energy throughout the night. During one of the breaks, Nicole walked over, saw me, and approached me. I got up and we hugged and she held onto my hand while she talked to me. She told me thank you so much for the birthday book and I expressed my relieve and shock that she actually got it and she said she definitely did and that she loved it. She told me some other things too that I can’t remember. She had to go, so she told me that she would talk to me later. After the wrap up, Nicole got up out of her seat, saw me, and said, “Come with me.” She grabbed my hand and took me toward the backstage area.  She took us to her trailer and Nicole’s team and her friends were all there. We talked and hung out for about 10 minutes talking about everything from the taping to DWTS to RENT to school to a bunch of other random things. Nicole’s friends were so entertaining too. We were joking around a lot too. Nicole had to hurry though because her car was waiting, but she made time to make some videos, sign some autographs, and take pictures.

Nicole and her friends again expressed that they loved the birthday book and that it was so beautifully done. After Nicole left, we walked back to the parking structure with Nicole’s friends and then headed our separate ways. Nicole is still as sweet and as amazing as ever. She really does love and take care of her fans. And I have to express my love for Nicole’s friends as well who are such sweethearts and so fun to be around. It’s still surreal hanging out with Nicole, but it never gets old! For all the fans who participated in the birthday book, she definitely got it and she loves it! Thanks for participating. It was another amazing night full of amazing memories!

It was the premiere taping of the Sing-Off Season 2. I went to the taping with my mom and aunt. We were seated and had a good view of the stage and the judges table. We waited while people were being seated and cameras were being tested. Soon the judges were introduced and out came Shawn Stockman, Nicole, and Ben Folds. Nicole was so pretty as usual!! I stood up and cheered so loud when she came out and she saw me and my mom cheering smiled and showed appreciation. I kept waving and she would look my way and smile. The taping went on for about 5 hours and didn’t end until past midnight. There were 10 groups who performed and all of them were amazing! Unfortunately it was the end of the road for 2 groups. The judges did their thing judging and Nicole had some crazy, dorky comments as usual. Nicole had a particular comment that was SO hilarious and she didn’t think it would make it on TV because it was a little inappropriate. Lol. Guess you’ll have to watch and find out if it does! After all the groups performed they had to do pick-ups and international openings. Nick Lachey messed up some of his lines so he had to re-do them. Throughout the taping Nicole would look around and look my way and wave and smile. During one of the breaks, Nicole walked by and she smiled, waved and asked how I was. I told her I was doing well. When things wrapped up, Nicole pretty much bolted toward backstage. I didn’t blame her, it was super late! As she was walking backstage, I called after her again and she smiled and waved. I knew she was in a rush so I just told her that I’d be back next week so she said, “Okay, I’ll see you next week!” and my mom said, “Hi!” and was waving to Nicole so I told her, “This is my mom!” and Nicole said, “Hi Mom!!” and smiled and waved. It was so cute! Then I said, “Okay, I’ll see you next week!” and Nicole said, “Yeah!” and proceeded backstage after waving and smiling some more. While exiting the studios I also met some of Nicole’s team who were awesome as always. I looked forward to the following Monday for another amazing experience!!
