Review: Got to Dance Live Semi-Final 2

The first semi-finals of Got To Dance saw judge, Ashley Banjo take to the stage with his dance group, Diversity – last Sunday it was Kimberly’s turn to perform and what an amazing performance it was! Before the live show began at 6pm, Davina introduced Kim’s performance which was broadcasted later. Aggro Santos who Kimberly has recorded a track with (”Candy”) was also in the audience to support.

While starting her performance blindfolded, Brian Friedman helped her on stage and performed her dance routine twice in the studio. Check out Kim’s performance below – great work, Kimberly!

As for the peformers on the night, the second group of semi-finalists to perform were: tap dancer – Kane, Street crew – DNA, Salsa inspired group – MJ Latin, Raw Edge, Contemporary dancers – Beyond Repair and Lyrical dancer – Matthew Koon. Out of the finalists who performed on the night, Matthew Koon recieved a standing ovation from the judges! During Matthew’s performance Kim watched in amazement and she seemed so inspired. While giving him feedback said she was “blessed” to have seen him perform.

The public agreed with the judges and put Matthew Koon through to the final as well as Salsa group, MJ Latin who will join Emily and Jukebox Juniors in the final. This week semi-finalist will be Akai, Unity Youth, Fancy Feet, Dance Dynamix, Eclipse and The Box.
